Fundamental is a sound synthesis software that delves into the diverse roots of electronic music history. The software's wave engine is an authentic sonic reproduction of a vintage Rohde & Schwarz vacuum tube oscillator, famously utilized by Stockhausen at WDR. Through sonicLAB audio engine design, Fundamental expands beyond the constraints of the original device, offering intricate modulation capabilities and stochastic distributions that intricately manipulate sonic parameters such as frequency, gain, and stereo panning in a continuous manner unlike anything previously achievable.
With Fundamental, users are provided with 8 instances of this classic sine wave generator, capturing all the nuances and opulence of vintage equipment. This amalgamation is an experience we highly recommend.

Fundamental2 introduces exciting new features building upon Fundamental1, enabling users to craft organic and perpetual evolving textures on iOS standalone and AUv3 platforms:

 <li>A morphing engine allowing seamless transitions between four Fundamental scenes, with stochastic manipulation available on the 2D morphing panel.</li>
 <li>Real-time gradual transition between tuning scales.</li>
 <li>Rotary Encoder midi controller mapping for precise control over oscillator frequency and gain using midi hardware.</li>
 <li>Ability to send midi note-on messages to each Fundamental oscillator on discreet midi channels.</li>
 <li>Morse code simulator on each GEN (sonicLAB LFO design) capable of producing custom morse signals for modulating relevant GEN outputs.</li>

 <li>Four dynamic wavetables rendered for each voice, offering infinitesimal steps of frequency and gain combinations between 1Hz – 3800Hz of the original vacuum tube oscillator.</li>
 <li>Eight simultaneous voices with customizable freq, gain, boost, panning, and modulation settings for each.</li>
 <li>Custom or harmonic frequency distribution of voices with variable spread ratio and tuning table.</li>
 <li>Four independent stochastic modulations for each voice (32 in total), addressing all parameters with various continuous, discrete distributions, and standard waveforms.</li>
 <li>Full MPE support with diverse configuration possibilities.</li>
 <li>Independent Attack/Release envelopes for each voice with various modes where AR times can be set to degrees of randomness.</li>
 <li>Vintage oscillator mode or pure sine wave mode selection.</li>
</ul>

The recommended iPad model for optimum performance is an A12 processor or higher. Due to screen size limitations, iPad Mini models are not advised for use with this software.
